Reflection, Tree of Life
Date: May 14, 2025
Context: Pilgrimage to Spain. No day specified, May 2025.
Love crucified is the “Tree of Life.” In the book of Genesis, the tree of life is in the center of the garden, and only God gives you the right to eat from this tree. In the New Testament, Jesus, crucified on the wood of the tree, becomes the Tree of Life. He is also the fruit, the Eucharist, which nurtures and gives us His life. The leaves, His Blood, heal, restore, refresh, cleanse, and protect us, thus preparing us to enter the Holy City, Heaven, to live in the Light, God, and consumed in God, in Love.
Mary, as one with the Holy Spirit, draws all souls to contemplate Love crucified so that we can come to know the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and through Him, the Father. Jesus tells us that when He is lifted up, He will draw all men to Himself (John 12:32). The New Testament reveals God’s plan of salvation. We are invited by God, through the Holy Spirit, not only to come to the foot of the tree of life but to become one with the Tree of Life, Jesus crucified. It is only in this way that we can be transformed into God Trinity, and participate, as the Body of Christ, in the redemption of the world. This is what it means to be a victim soul. We become one with the Tree of Life, helping to bring new life to many through participation in Jesus’s sacrifice of love.
