My little one, full union with God can only come about through death. You must be willing to die so that I can resurrect in you. True union means that you no longer exist, but Christ lives in you just as the Father and I are one; you, too, become one with God. You, through My sacrifice of love for you, become the image and likeness of the Father through your perfect union in My death. Sin brought forth death, but now death to self brings forth new life.

The path I have led you through is the path to death and resurrection. The grain of wheat must die to produce new life (Jn 12:24). Only those that remain with Me through the path of dying to self can experience the joy of rising to new life. Eros lived without Agape brings forth emptiness and slavery, whereas eros consumed in Agape brings forth everlasting joy-the ecstasy of Love.
