You Do Not Realize How Much God Can Expand the Tent of Your Heart to Contain Him

Date: September 4, 2022

You, My little one, are more than My secretary. You are my spouse of My Most Precious Blood. You have been chosen by the Father to receive all of Me.

—How, my Lord, can I receive all of you who are God, and I a particle of dust? How can an ocean fill a small glass?

—You are correct, My little one, you cannot contain God in your nothingness, but you do not realize how much God can expand the tent of your heart to contain Him through His Son. This is what I desire to give you today—a realization of how much your heart can expand to receive God through your union with Me, your Beloved Spouse. This mystery of God’s love is the gift I wish to give you this morning.

—My Lord, let it be done according to your will. It seems that there is nothing I can do except to live bringing you my misery, weakness, and nothingness. What in me, my Beloved, is an obstacle to this greater expansion of my heart?

—My little one, your body and mind are tired of the weekly cenacles that require much from you, but I desire that you abandon yourself daily to Me and trust Me blindly. You have been asked by God to give your life for the mission He has entrusted to you; your faithfulness to His Will comes before all else in your life. You have not yet given yourself completely to the point of being hated on My account.

—These words from the Lord came after meditating on today’s Gospel, Luke 14: 25–33:

If anyone comes to me without hating his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.

Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.

Any one of you who does not renounce all his possessions cannot be my disciple.

And turning, he said to them: If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. For which of you having a mind to build a tower, doth not first sit down, and reckon the charges that are necessary, whether he have wherewithal to finish it: Lest, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that see it begin to mock him, Saying: This man began to build, and was not able to finish. Or what king, about to go to make war against another king, doth not first sit down, and think whether he be able, with ten thousand, to meet him that, with twenty thousand, cometh against him? Or else, whilst the other is yet afar off, sending an embassy, he desireth conditions of peace. So likewise every one of you that doth not renounce all that he possesseth, cannot be my disciple.
