Prisoners of Love

Date: May 27, 2013

I’m here in the chapel of St. Justin Martyr alone with my Lord before the tabernacle. I cry tears of love for my Beloved. He is here locked up in the tabernacle, almost always alone, with hardly anyone that comes to be with Him. There is no Eucharistic Adoration here. My Lord makes Himself dependent on a person to come with the key to open the doors of the tabernacle. My Lord is a prisoner of love. What sorrow, what tears I cry! I have become a prisoner of love with my Lord in the tabernacle of my heart. I pray to our Lady that I can live this union of solitude with greater love, for love is all that matters. I pray that I can love with greater passion in this interior solitude to help set many captives free. My Lord and my God, thank you for teaching me how to love through the witness of how You love in and through the Eucharist. Grant me the grace to smile through the tears and sorrows hidden within the tabernacle of my heart so that, like Mary, I can give away the roses of graces and keep the thorns as my greatest treasure. Amen
