This morning, Jesus again wanted to teach me about unity. I got my journal ready to write, but He did not teach me through words but through this vision of His Light.

The Light of Jesus that I see is a Light that draws to Itself like a very powerful magnet. My soul desires to be consumed in His Light. No longer two but ONE! It is a Light that radiates from Jesus, but at the same time, the Light is God Himself. When a soul enters the Light of the Person of Jesus, you become ONE with the Light. The human person is consumed in the Light of God. This human soul becomes the Light of God. I can see and understand why St. Paul says, “Put on the armor of Light.” “Put on the Lord Jesus Christ.” Only this Light, the Light of Jesus Christ, can penetrate the darkness. We can never penetrate the darkness of evil until we become ONE in the Light of God. I can see so clearly that a human being outside of this Light, not possessed by this Light, can do very little to spread the Kingdom of God on earth.

I was consumed in this Light, but it was still two, not ONE. I asked Jesus, “My Lord, what can I do to become ONE with You, no longer two?”

Jesus explained, and I understood, that our entire way of life and spirituality is:

•To seek God continuously and SINCERELY. •To seek continuously to know our misery, sinfulness, pride, and self-love in its many disguises. •To seek continuously God Himself. •To persevere in PRAYER. •To mortify ourselves in SILENCE. •To PARTICIPATE IN THE EUCHARISTIC LIFE of Jesus by suffering all with Him.

Becoming ONE in the Light of Jesus Christ is UNITY. It is then and only then that a soul becomes the “SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.” I can see clearly how these souls, as ONE in Christ, possessed in the LIGHT of God, will fight the “decisive battle” for God to pierce the darkness consuming the world.

Our good Lord is bringing every MOC and MC to become the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT!
