✉️ Messages
Overview
A searchable archive of all community messages since the beginning. Browse five ways: Search, By Topic, By Date, By Date Range, or Latest. No account is needed to read messages.
Search by Word or Phrase
Type any word or phrase. Results group by precision:
- Topic: [Name] — Messages tagged under that topic
- Exact phrase — Words appear together in order
- All words — Each word present, any order
- Some words — At least one word matches
Search by Date
The search understands natural language dates in English and Spanish. Examples:
| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| 2024 | All messages from 2024 |
| August 2023 | All August 2023 messages |
| Aug 2023 | Same — abbreviations work |
| 12/8/23 | August 12, 2023 |
| 8 December | December 8 (any year) |
For a specific range, use the By Date Range tab and enter start and end dates.
Search by Topic
Type a topic name — the search recognizes it and shows all tagged messages first. You can also tap the By Topic tab to browse the full topic list and select directly.
Navigating Between Messages
When a message is open, four buttons appear at the top: First, Prev, Next, Last. Use them to move through results without returning to the list.
Sharing a Message
Each message has a Share button. Tap it to copy a direct link to that exact message. Send it via WhatsApp, email, or any other method — the recipient lands directly on the message.
References — Bible Verses and Teaching Links
At the bottom of each message, references appear automatically:
- Bible verses — Any Scripture cited by Fr. Jordi displays in full
- Teaching links — If a teaching is mentioned, a link appears to listen directly
Export to PDF
After searching, an Export PDF button appears in the results. The PDF includes all matching messages — useful for printing or saving a themed or period-specific collection.
🎙️ Teachings
Overview
231 teachings from 2011 to today — searchable by title, written content, and the actual spoken words of every recording.
Recent Teachings
The Teachings page opens with the most recent. Scroll to explore or use the By Date tab to navigate by year and month. Each card shows the title, date, category, and a brief description. Tap Open Teaching to access the audio.
Search by Title or Written Content
Type any word or phrase. Results group into three tiers:
- Title — Teachings whose title contains the word
- Content — Teachings whose written description or PDF files contain the word
- Transcriptions — Teachings where the word was spoken in the recording
Within each tier, results go from most precise (exact phrase) to broadest (any word).
Search Transcriptions (What Was Spoken)
Every spoken word in every teaching has been transcribed. When your search matches something said in a recording, it appears in the Transcriptions group. Each result shows the exact sentence where the word appears. Tap Show all matches to see every occurrence in that teaching.
Explore by Date
Use the By Date tab to browse teachings by year and month. Select a year to see all teachings from that year, then filter by month.

🙏 Prayer Requests
Email Address
Prayer requests are sent from prayers@lovecrucified.net. Save this address to make sure they don’t go to spam. The previous address (lcpray@yahoo.com) still works and routes to the same system.
For Members: Sending a Prayer Intention
Any logged-in member can submit a prayer intention from the Portal:
- Tap Create → Prayer Intention in the navigation bar
- Write your intention in your preferred language
- Tap Send
The intention reaches Cata Granados and María Fernanda Tobón, who review, translate, and send it to the community as a formal prayer request. A human editor always reviews each intention before it goes out — nothing is sent automatically.
You can also send intentions directly to Cata or María Fernanda by text or WhatsApp, or email lcpray@yahoo.com. All channels reach the same process.
For Editors: Sending a Prayer Request
Editors (Cata Granados and María Fernanda Tobón) manage requests from the Portal:
- Open Prayer Requests from the Create menu or navigation
- Review pending intentions in the queue
- Tap Process — the form pre-fills with the text and language
- Write or edit the English and Spanish versions side by side
- Add attachments if needed
- Tap Send
The email reaches all members from prayers@lovecrucified.net, each in their preferred language. Every sent request is saved in the Send Log.

🔔 Notifications
Overview
Community notices, new teaching alerts, and meeting reminders are sent from notifications@lovecrucified.net. Save this address so community notices don’t go to spam.
How Notifications Work
When a new teaching is published, a meeting is scheduled, or a community notice goes out, a notification is sent. You receive it in your preferred language (English or Spanish). The sender writes once; the system sends each version to the right people.
How to Unsubscribe
Every notification email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Tap it to manage your preferences. You can unsubscribe from Prayer Request emails and Notification emails separately.
Available Notification Types
You can publish the following types of content depending on your objective:
- General Notification: A standard message for the community, typically used for cenacle reminders.

- Choose the Notification Type: Expand the category menu and select the type of content you are going to send (General notification, Teaching, Testimony, Media, Event, or Letter).
- Configure Audience and Recipients:

- Enter the Subject (Required): Type the title or purpose of the message in the Subject * field. Please note that fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory.
- Draft the Message Body (Required): Type or paste your message text into the editor of the selected language. You can use the text formatting tools or copy directly from Word or another external text editor.
- Attach Files in the Original Language (Optional): If the message requires it, use the “Add file” button to upload the corresponding documents or images in the language you drafted.
- Translate Automatically: Click the “Translate” button. The tool will automatically process the Subject and Message Body into the second language.
- Review the Translation and Attach Files:
- Verify the suggested translation in the right column and make any manual adjustments if corrections are needed.
- Attach the corresponding files in this second language if necessary.
- Send or Cancel the Publication:

- To publish: Click the red “Send Notification” button. This is the final step that will publish the content and send an automatic email from the address notifications@lovecrucified.net to the selected members.
